Dawn Monroe, President
Ms. Monroe has over nineteen years of specialized management and engineering experience in direct support of the AEGIS Program at NSWCDD as well as other major engineering programs. She also brings over thirteen years experience serving in business development and marketing roles supporting various DoD programs. Ms. Monroe has a vast knowledge of the DoD acquisition process having filled almost every role of the acquisition process. She understands the value of well-designed systems and data management processes. Her broad and lengthy experience has given her an excellent grasp of the Navy’s weapons system acquisition process and the Navy’s unique role in it. Before starting MDIC, Ms. Monroe captured and ran the SeaPort contract for Sentel Corporation.
Ms. Monroe’s academic training, highly relevant work experience, and her well-deserved reputation for professional ethics and competence are key resources for the DoD in the execution of any task she undertakes. Ms. Monroe is a graduate of Mary Baldwin College, Staunton, Virginia, where she majored in Mathematics, Psychology, and Education with a minor in Special Education. She has also completed graduate work at the University of Virginia.
